 ♥ The Blurb ♥

Out of Time is volume 2 in a serial. It is non a standalone novel. I highly recommend that you read my commencement novel, Ix Minutes, to be able to empathise the groundwork stories of the primary characters. There are many twists and turns in both books that can best be connected if read consecutively.

Although I do reply the outstanding questions from Nine Minutes, there is more to this story, and some readers may consider it a cliffhanger. If you do not similar cliffhangers, y'all may want to expect until the third novel is released in 2016. Other readers may be satisfied with the answers and the ending. Regardless of which category you autumn into, I hope you enjoy the story.

They idea with his execution information technology would all be over.
They were wrong.

The leader of i of Southward Florida'due south virtually notorious and brutal motorbike gangs has been put to death by lethal injection. Days later, his family and friends should accept been picking upwardly the pieces, moving on. Instead, they've been catapulted into a globe so twisted and dangerous even the nearly ruthless amongst them would exist stunned to notice the tangled web of deception, not only on the dangerous streets of South Florida but all the way to the top.

In this gripping follow-up novel to Nine Minutes, Out of Fourth dimension takes readers from the sunday-drenched flatlands of 1950s Central Florida to the vivid tropical heat of Fort Lauderdale to the halls of Florida's Death Row equally nosotros finally learn the gritty backstory of Jason "Grizz" Talbot and the surreptitious he spent his life trying to conceal.

Not fifty-fifty Grizz's inner circle knows his full story—the tragedy that enveloped his early life, the surprise discovery that made him the government's nigh wanted and most feared, and the depths of his love for Ginny, the tenderhearted innocent he'd once abducted and subsequently made his wife.

Once Grizz's obsession and now the female parent of his child, Ginny has spent years grieving the human she'd kickoff resisted and so came to love. Every time they turn around, another secret is revealed, unraveling the very bonds that concord them together.

And with Grizz finally put to death, now Ginny has learned secrets so dark, so evil she'south not even sure she tin can proceed.

Will these secrets tear their honey to pieces? And how far volition Grizz become to protect what he yet considers his, even from across the grave?

 ♥ My Thoughts ♥

100 Grizzly stars!

Holly Female parent of God, what merely happened! I swear that writer mixes "Consequences" (Aleatha Romig) with "Black Lies" (Alessandra Torre). What a bed of lies and deceit!

Warning: don't read this book before reading Nine Minutes. This 2nd book is not a simple "rehash" from the first book told from a different point of view. Yes, nosotros relive some events of the past under a new (and very interesting) lite but it's also the "afterwards" Grizz death.
It spans over decades and we notice all the manipulations, all the twisted moves made by Grizz to protect Ginny and survive in his outlawed or not so outlawed life.
If that was non enough, nosotros likewise see the story through Grunt's optics. How he plotted for years to steal Ginny from Grizz to own her one 24-hour interval. She was not meant to alive this life and he did want to escape with her. Merely what gave him the right to decide what was right and what was incorrect for Ginny!?
OK, I know, the aforementioned could be said for Grizz as he wanted her and took her, as simple every bit that.
Yes, Ginny has merely been a pawn between these 2 men. But she has been loved and worshipped higher up all else.

Ginny and Tommy (aka Grunt) observe many secrets about Grizz: his past, who he actually was and who betrayed them. Some revelations and traitors really, really stunned me. I never saw it coming. And I loved it. Others fabricated sense and could be more or less expected but these were few.

Ginny realizes she has been manipulated all forth. She knew Grizz protected her from many fell realities and she chose to go through life wearing pink spectacles, not wait in what Grizz did. Ignorance is bliss, right? She was young and she chose to be protected from these realities. She had to if she wanted to stay with Grizz. His life went against all she believed in: her religious education, her empathy for others and her fight to protect the weakest.
That'southward why Grizz loved her so much: she was his low-cal in the darkness. I loved reading about the child she was. The burn she had in her to save others was incredible. Of grade Grizz and Grunt would fall in love with her!

Now, Ginny has matured and she is shaken to her core by the revelations. It's fourth dimension to abound and face the music. She chooses to encounter, really see. She'll push Tommy/Grunt to tell her the whole story, his manipulations included but she'll need time alone to procedure everything.
Tommy talks and talks. It's hard, it's raw and he fears losing Ginny but he wants to exist honest with her. Poor Ginny, mourning Grizz and discovering all her husband's lies. Now, she must digest all what'south been said and brand a choice: go on with Tommy or non. Could she trust him again?

I did not know if I should hate Grunt as I'k team Grizz through and through even beingness the conniving and fell man he could exist, or love Grunt. Grunt had such a horrible childhood and loved Ginny from the kickoff. For both men, the maxim "The roads to hell are paved with practiced intentions" could not be more authentic when Ginny is concerned. They both loved her badly and they both wanted to protect her.
Merely what I could not swallow is Grunt's betrayal. He ever worked behind Grizz back and had an agenda all along. He did not only manipulate Ginny (what Grizz never did, he just protected her but was not mendacious) merely Grizz. I wanted to boot his balls so many times!

Each affiliate shows another deceit, another lie and clues are coming subsequently Grizz execution. Even in death he remains the decision-making man, the boob master as he orchestrated and foresaw many things.

Honestly Mrs Flynn, I don't know where you find all these ideas and make them work incredibly well without losing your way. I'thousand officially starstruck. It's diabolical and I must have experienced intellectual orgasms as it was soooooooooooooo smartly executed!

Just this isn't the end, it's merely a first. Something else is coming and information technology's BIG! We stills accept many, many things to learn, YAY! But exist prepared there is a large cliffhanger ahead! So if y'all don't like it, wait for the 3rd installment.

Give thanks you lot Mrs Flynn, you took me on a hell of a ride!
